Pupils from Toucan class and a student from Woodpecker class participated in a special community event to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the railway in Brent. The celebration included a unique activity: the burial of a time capsule filled with students' artwork in a local park. This project highlights a meaningful link between local education and the area's historical milestones.

As you will be aware, the Met Office is forecasting that the very high temperatures we have been experiencing will continue today and for the next week at least.
Dear Families,
I hope that you and your families have had a good spring break, and that you have enjoyed some of the sunny weather we have had. It was lovely to see your child return to school this week, knowing that they will soon settle back into a school routine.
We are so proud to present our students at Mapledown School, based in London, performing the song “One Love” by Bob Marley, as part of Barnet Education Arts Trust's “All Under One Sky“ gala concert at the Royal Albert Hall on 1st April 2025.
Our group, The Maple Vibes, was led by Mapledown’s music teacher and BEAT’s Access for All programme lead, Oded Abramovich.
Access for All is an inclusive initiative that brings together students of varying SEN abilities to create music collaboratively in a band setting.
